COPR does not have an expiry date. However the immigrant visa on the passport would have an expiry date. This date is normally 12 months from medical passed date.

Correct. It comes in the envelope with your passport. Only people doing virtual landing (who are already in Canada) get it online.

Basically what you will get is a single entry “IMMIGRANT” visa on your passport and a document called COPR. When you reach Canada the Canadian immigration officer at the airport will do a short basic interview and enter final details in their system. Then he/she will stamp your COPR document...

COPR will come with the passport in the same envelope. You have to carry this to Canada. It will be stamped at the airport by the immigration officer and that is when you officially become a permanent resident. Good luck.

It really depends on who you get to speak to when you call them. My parents never got an email from VFS. They were contacted directly by bluedart. When the bluedart person came, he had their names and airway bill numbers. The passports were handed over to him and next day we got a confirmation...

Never heard of that. However, it doesn’t hurt to upload the copies Off the data pages and the visa page
