I just called them. The client support specialist told me that it's pending because the decision letter has not been sent out yet but the decision has been made. However she can't tell me what the decision is since it can still technically change.

Btw the officers don't necessarily change background checks from "Not started" to "In progress". The operator told me that officers only indicate changes in gcms half of the time (and they told them that during their training). My case would be the proof of it. My security was "Not started"...

Nope. The last thing there is "Background verification status has been updated to Completed" . In my GCKey it's still says "In progress"

Guuuys I have a number appeared in the COPR details in the tracker! And all the field except for Eligibility turned to Completed.:p I never got my PAL though... Can they issue a temporary COPR number before passing Eligibility?

I noticed they mostly ask a lot of additional documents (esp financial ones) from the former students. I guess it's linked to the lack of professional work experience in Canada at the time of application. Simply to check the applicant's ability to economically establish in the province.

Could you please specify what stream did you choose? Was it some sort of student/graduate/master stream? Or you are outland?

They haven't requested it yet. But according to the other threads, that's what they do in such cases.

I'm pretty sure they just connected the Background database to the tracker. So everyone who has their background check in progress got the update. Next one will be the Eligibility one.

Same for me. I also got a "Apr 14, 2023 We received your enquiry." that was uploaded today.
