I would say that it took almost 2 months for my credit card to be charged (see signature), and other people who sent their files in after mine were charged before me. This was only slightly before the coronavirus situation really went bad here in Quebec so it wouldn't surprise me if it takes...

Just to give you another data point, my card was just charged yesterday and my app was delivered Jan 24. So could be a bit longer than a week even assuming they continue business as usual.

Mine was delivered January 24 and also no charge or news. I'll update once I get charged. We did receive a letter from CPC-M asking us to deliver the CSQ by May 27, but that's all.

Just received the exact same letter with the exact same deadline. After reading it a few times I'm confident that this is only a request for the CSQ. If a police certificate were required it probably comes on a similar form letter. I set myself a calendar reminder for a week before the deadline...

Same thing happened to me. The requirement from MIDI is just a letter inviting you to apply for CSQ from IRCC, and since both letters include the same information and language I wouldn't worry about it.

I looked into this before. You should probably wait unless there's a very good reason not to. The CIC website at https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-permanent-residents.html#when states:

Our PA received a biometrics fee request today via email for our application received in Sydney on December 16. We were able to check status on ECAS and link GCKey for PA, but haven't received AOR1 yet.

I believe that family class PR applications should be exempt from the so-called values test.

I'm also applying for Quebec (from the USA). Still waiting on AOR1 for the federal application and then some time later we'll be invited to submit the CSQ application. Unfortunately, based on other topics in the forum it looks like Quebec is taking approximately 4 months to process these...

Added to the tracker. Application was guaranteed for delivery by end of day on the 13th but UPS didn't deliver until this morning.
