Got re-medical on the 9th, didi it on the 10th (another $250), physician submitted today. I raised a webform sending a whole bunch of receipts and COVID vaccination proof, hoping to get passed soon. BOWP has a little over 6 months left. do not want to apply for another either, also may lose OHIP...

Oh now I understand your timeline better. You expected so precisely. We waited and after 47 days of expiration, we got the re-medical request with IME number. I guess IRCC made sure that we all have to wait, either by upfront or as requested. Anyway, congrats.

People have been informing everyone that medical must be valid for over 6 months before they can finalize the application. So at this stage, simply do whatever they ask. It is not wise to try to save some money, otherwise it will be very likely that we pay the price by not only paying the money...

Such a lame excuse. What could they possibly do by answering phones? Why not hire more immigration officers and expedite the process rather than just saying we are prioritizing it. Western politics, only talks, no walks.

Nowadays, there is no pattern at all for how long it takes to issue re-medical or extend it, which sucks.
