I’m not sure the ‘submitted’ button will change - I have been through l the process where they asked for a copy of my passport, then weeks later I got passport request letter and now I have received PRTD and the status remains unchanged still on ‘submitted’

Turnaround was 6 business days :) from VFS to IRCC to collection.

It’s the IRCC web form: Contact us online. I clicked on tell us more, and selected buttons Permanent Residence , outside Canada, Australia - Sydney - then it took me to a webform where I selected Permanent Residence in Canada - I entered my enquiry and uploaded any documents.

What is timeline and turnaround of when you have submitted passport to VAC to when you received passport back with PRTD?

My PRTD application has been in process since 28 June. I had to submit full copy of passsport 1 July and I have submitted another web form with my travel Itinerary and on Sunday I submitted a web form. I have already booked flights from Australia to Vancouver, Canada and completely stressed...

I was able to submit the IRCC web form and received an email response in regards to status of my application that it was under review with migration officer.

Hi - I am also waiting for PRTD and wanting to travel back on Australian passport. I’ve been waiting for almost a month, application through Syd, Australia. Although I am only looking to visit Canada for a short holiday and return to Australia after 2 weeks.

I hope it won’t be 2 months for me as I’m travelling next month. I did email my itinerary and they replied straight away that file is still under review. I hope they request my passport soon.

Hi all, I am an outland applicant living in Canada, waiting for my passport to arrive. Am I able to apply for a SIN with my visa in passport & copr? Or do I need to formally "land". I will be able to drive to the border in a few weeks but I was hoping to get the ball rolling before then. Thanks.
