I was just wondering I’ve applied online in August 2021 but the online tracker says that my application is filed October 21, 2021 which is one day after the date on my AOR. Is that usual for online applicants ?

Hey everyone. Just completed my test now. I did realize as part of the signing in process they send you a link so I had to open another tab to access it and forgot to close it. Hopefully it will be ok since I haven’t switched tabs during the test itself. Anyway will see in a few days hoping it’s ok.

That's absolutely normal. I applied early August and my status only changed early this week. You will probably get something in the next 3 weeks.

Unfortuntely nothing in the junk folder for me, I wasn't sure if anyone did the test without the email? I'd like to do mine tomorrow and get it over with.

Hey everyone, can we do the citizenship test without receiving the email? My tracker has updated and the test window starts tomorrow, but no email yet. Also can we do the test at anytime of the day?

Thanks Abbas but i was thinking this could add weeks to the processing time unnecessarily if they ask for it in the future. It wouldn’t hurt if I supply it now?

i received a PDF showing the application # and standard lingo....i havent checked the application status yet, I heard usually we need to wait 24 hrs before u can check

Hey everyone, I received the AOR today for my online application... Now that the AOR is received I wanted to get people's opinion on whether I should submit a webform to provide the colour passport copies? For most online applicants, they haven't submitted this as part of the online...

I’ve double checked my online application, it specifically said “Upload the bio page(s) of this document”. I hope therefore I’m ok. I really don’t want to wait 4 months only for them to tell me to re submit.

I just think this would be a bit harsh since I’ve followed the online application requirements to the letter. i also followed the guideline requirements dated June 6. So it must be a very recent requirement for paper applications. Anyway, can I send the web form without receiving the AOR?

Do you think they could return the application as incomplete if I didn’t include the full passport?

I only submitted the bio page. Tbh I didn’t even realize all passport pages are required for paper applications. I guess at some point they will ask us to upload all passport pages if required.

i think no one can give you a straight answer. Too many unknowns. In my case I went with an online application for convenience. If you want less risk maybe go with paper.

I think it’s a good sign that it shows you successfully submitted on the web. Do you have the option to download a copy of the your submitted application? If that’s the case then it should be submitted. did you check your spam folder? Emails in spam usually get deleted after 30 days or so. I...

Thank you for the detailed response. I’ll include the visit days in my calculations but I’ll also wait a few weeks to ensure to ensure I meet the requirements based on the full PR days … to be on the safe side.

But what’s the difference between visiting Canada on a visit visa or an eTA? Surely both is considered visitors? I used eTA since I’m a UK citizen.

Hi All Before becoming a PR, I’ve visited Canada a few times. I entered Canada on an electronic travel authorization. is this considered ‘lawful authorization to enter Canada as a temporary resident’? I was wondering if I could use these days as half day credits. Thanks

I had the same question. The 420x540 maximum image size is a mistake from their end in my opinion, as it previously used to say a minimum. I think if you can get a digital photo at 420x540 then you should be ok. The other clarification I needed is that 420x540 pixel dimensions translate to...
