Exactly Ottawa VO Appears to be dead. I saw tons of FSW's getting processed by other VISA offices barely any movement from Ottawa office. Then ones I see from Ottawa are PNP applicants. I don't have words to explain my frustration with the entire process.

I reached out to my Immigration consultant , and he said filling Mandamus is very expensive. I also checked the link which you have provided about mandamus but it does not provide cost involved. Can share some light on this topic. I am also thinking about going ahead and file one.

Just want to understand here , Did they expedite processing on your application because you filled Mandamus ? or you getting PPR is has nothing to do with Mandamus ? I am also October 2020 AOR hence thinking if filling Mandamus works then I will do the same as well. Please provide your thoughts.

Just want to understand , how much time it takes to get the CoPR after medical extension ? Did you observed any pattern or it is sporadic in nature because I saw some folks got the CoPR , exactly one day after medical extension. In this case it took more than a month.

really ? that's weird. This is the first case I came across where CEC is delayed otherwise all CEC applicants that I know are processed within 3 months.

I am going to do it , after 3 more months. I mean I don't see any remote chance of these application getting picked up. Next year to meet the quota they will start with more CEC rounds and other programs. It's better to withdraw the existing application and apply under CEC next year. I have made...

It's good new for sure but agin it shows overall system is inconsistent in terms of picking up and processing applications.I mean folks for June 2020 are still waiting and January 2021 AOR gets the applications proceeded. This confirms the irregularity !!!

That is great new . Wondering how the systems works. My medical for extended few weeks back but did not get anything beyond that point. It's great in your case as you got the approval email just after a day after medical extension.
