Received AOR on 3rd of April; application got denied exactly a week later

AOR means that they've checked all documents and on the surface everything looks OK. I got that email on the 3rd and then a week later (today) received a rejection email. Both from Sydney, so it does in fact look like they're also doing actual processing of applications. First email was signed...

How can I get in touch with them? AOR said that they're forwarding my application to CPP-O, while today's email came from Sydney.

I did send them my 2012 T4 and NOA. Reference letter stated that I'm a part timer, but it also listed both total hours worked and my weekly average. As for regrouping.. I guess in a way it's good, but now I'll have to pay another $550. :( What about my documents though? No one seems to have an...

Received AOR on 3rd of April; application got denied exactly a week later

Exactly. My hours vary, but I did add up the hours on my pay stubs and they were enough. Otherwise I wouldn't have even sent in my application. I just applied for GCMS notes. Curious to see what they thought the problem was. Do you know if they will return my documents back to me though? If I...

Received AOR on 3rd of April; application got denied exactly a week later

Absolutely. Pay stubs, great reference letter (including extensive duties), and a certificate for being my team's MVP. See, I was focusing on the hours because the last sentence listed my dates and average hours so I automatically assumed that was their issue.

I doubt it. Under old rules it used to be 24 months and 1950 hours, so I think they reviewed my application under current regulations as the excerpt I posted even mentions the 12 month requirement.

Where did you find that info? cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp clearly says You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. :)

That's the thing though. It states - or equivalent part time experience. Hence why I did all that amazing Einstein level math, to show you guys where my frustration is coming from.

Yup, that happened. I don't know what to do at this point.. I've built a life here over the past three years and now I'll have to leave it all behind? I am not satisfied that you meet the requirement(s) because You have not provided sufficient evidence of at least 12 months of work...
