Make sure you provide written explanation why the PP number is different, so it does not get rejected just because they did not understand why it was different. It is always good to explain any discrepancies.

Hi Jigs, Isn't there an option 3? What if your H1b extension is denied and then you have min. 30 days to leave the country. In those 30 day period what if you enroll in an eligible Kaplan type course which provides you with an i-20 and you could do a change of status by filling out a i-539 form...

Well it's only 11 days for me from the time FBI received my PCC application. No credit card charge yet. Hope it come soon for you so I can expect it too.
