Man I'd be happy to pay for a freaking open work permit, technically I am supposed to be eligible for a PGWP extention, but no damn chance. That is where freaking stress is just piling up

I have came to Canada in 2015 and since then had to apply for a co-op work permit in 2016 and PGWP in 2019, never has been asked for biometrics once.

Could you keep me updated? I am two days off from you and waiting as well.. Wondering to see if they just don't rush cause we are not at a 100 yet

That’s more of an exception. Majority of the ones we hear about are 20-25 day waits. I have mine on October 14, still waiting.

I wouldn't test it with a vacation for now... We are going into the second wave and you could risk not being able to get a flight back without paying a fortune. On top of that from what I have heard it takes a few months right now to get a physical card which you will need to travel. The...

Did anyone who wasn't exempt from biometrics and already gave them receive CoPR at all? Or are they going over the exemptions first?

No problem! It seems like they simplified this process for us so I can't complain :)

Normally, you would need to "land" when you get your coPR. You would go to an IRCC office for that or to the border to flagpolle. However, now it is changed and we do not know if there is still an interview but over the phone or something else...

Yeah there is no direct message as of now. I guess we will only come to know once we will get to that part of the process (fingers crossed obviously XD)

I don't even think there is an office meeting/flagpolling allowed right now. There is a new process that they will instruct on. At least according to: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/immigration-applicants.html

Got call today at around 10 am. Booked in for October 13th. AOR May 22nd and it’s in Mississauga. The agent said that my name is on “priority list” whatever that means so no clue how really they’re calling.
