PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

Might not be relevant, but recently it took 10 days for Etobicoke office to issue the COPR document to me after getting my application approved on CIC, which shows the amount of backlog they have even for just issuing COPRs. It is a very slow office unfortunately.

PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

Why would it take them 129 days to simply print a PR card? Does anyone know? What process do they have to follow to print a card? Am I missing something? @legalfalcon

Have you received a refund on your biometrics? If so, when?

    >>>>>>>>>APRIL 2020 AoR Discussion<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Well, I assume you're correct too because we still see June/July/Aug AORs applicants getting approved on a daily basis. Their system is so unfair, but what else can we do? Do webforms/calling help in these scenarios?

CEC April 2020 applicants join here for updates.

They updated their website saying that they are now processing May 17 to May 23 applications. Last week it was May 10 to May 16. WHAT is going on? What have APRIL applicants done to not be processed? Why is their system so biased? Can we raise a webform and enquire about this? What do you guys...

On their official website, they say that they are processing May AORs. When will they process April AORs? Will they be processing June AORs after? or they are going backwards (i.e April AORs next)?

    >>>>>>>>>APRIL 2020 AoR Discussion<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

So they announced on their website that they’re processing May AORs. How about April AORs? I do not get what’s going on with IRCC processing applications. How is this system fair? I thought it was first come first serve basis but apparently the system is on a random serve basis.

We have very similar timelines. Do you have everything passed with criminality in-progress as well?

    >>>>>>>>>APRIL 2020 AoR Discussion<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

wow, I still have not received a refund and I was exempt Oct 19. What is that supposed to mean? Has anyone received a refund after their COPR? So much overthinking its depressing.

    >>>>>>>>>APRIL 2020 AoR Discussion<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

I had the exact same thoughts unfortunately. Have any bio-exempt applicants gotten their COPR? And were they refunded the $85 biometrics fee before or after the COPR?
  19. A

    >>>>>>>>>APRIL 2020 AoR Discussion<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Is it true that the ones who submitted their Biometrics got their application approved faster than the ones who are Bio-exempt?? All the ones who are bio-exempt have their criminality in-progress and it is causing this delay (at least for me).

    Ray of hope - FSW - 1

Its a fair decision for Canada, I have to admit. What’s the point of issuing COPRs to outlanders when they can’t even travel and then their COPRs expire. However, 27k ITAs in one-go will create a massive backlog, which will be even bad news to the ones who have their application in-process. I...
