My card is expiring in Jan 2021 and my file is still IP since March 18, 2019.

My application passed 14 months yesterday, and I haven’t receive a test date yet. I called them on Feb 5th and they said they will forward the note to the officer but 1 month passed. I hope to get an update soon. Anyone else in the same boat?

It totally makes sense. The processing time is 12 months. If you have been called before 12 months to give a test it doesn’t mean that they have to call you for oath-taking within days or months. They can process it anytime within 12 months. Your 12 months start from the date they received your...

Yes, it’s normal. The processing time is 12 months. You will get the test invite within this timeframe if not then you can contact them. My application is in process since April 18th.

I don’t think that giving them a call will make the process faster. You are still in the timeline. Process timeline is 12 months. They can only help you if it’s longer then process time. I am not sure what’s PEI. P.S: My application is IP since March 18th

They don’t send any hardcopy or AOR if you have selected the option to communicate through email. On ECAS there will be a link of Discover Canada, through which you can prepare for the citizenship test.
