But then how could they issue a file number. I called IRCC today and I have the same status and asked for a file number.. they rep gave me a CXXXXXXXX.. I'm hoping we will get the AOR email soon.

I checked ECAS today after a week and it shows that the "application received" but i never recieved any email from IRCC. Please update the doc and check your ECAS with UCI number seems like they never sent any email to us. Happy Holidays

i dont think you need to worry, Almost everyone has to go through it if i am not mistaken. The interview is just a formality they will just look at your ID's and take away your PR Card and congratulate you on becoming a Canadian. so relax and enjoy your weekend.

yes, i received it on the 14th but i did notice on the purolator envelope that it was prepared on October 13. I have never picked up anything and not sure with the cases rising again if they will make it appointments only again. so just be safe and use the courier and it will definitely reach you.

it will take some time. I submitted Sep 18 together and my status changed today afternoon. so you are still looking at another 10-14 days.
