Oh and one thing I hadn't realized until now, since April 2022 the work permit validity time can be up to 3 years... I got my renewal for 3 years, which is much better than the 2 years they gave prior to that

My permit expired December 3rd 2022, and I applied for an extension November 25th 2022

Oh, one thing to note is that I submitted a document change (LMIA approval) on Dec 21st - not sure if this affects the order in which my request is processed.

I am currently doing a 2-year (4 semesters) program in my country, which will amount to 1700 hours of post-secondary study. Is that enough study hours for me to be eligible to get a "two-year post-secondary credential" equivalency report by an institution such as WES? Thanks!

I think you should be eligible for a provincial nomination for Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream. The minimum EOI score in Jan 31st was 53 points, you probably have more than that.

I think the EOI score is slightly lower now; In January 31st, the minimum EOI score was 53 to qualify under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream was just 53.
