LOT - is local office transfer. My application was also transferred to the Local office in March. What I meant when i said that CIC might have skipped LOT of March was that, they might have requested to renew the background checks as most of them would be close to expiring (big assumption)...

You never know. Seems like they go by Received and In Process date for now. But their is a slim possibility that they skipped all the March LOT and jumped to April, cause of background checks expiring or being close to expiry. Again slim possibility.

Can you share all the different ans? I want to see the variation.

It takes around 3 moths to do background checks, so expect delay of around that time.

By the looks of it, LOT doesn't matter. It seems as if they use application received and in process dates as benchmarks.

You should be getting a test invite soon. When did you call CIC? Also ask them if you background checks are expired or not.

Dreamchaser, I think your background checks might have expired. Next time when you call ask them if they are valid. Shooze and Texan might be in the same situation.

Its an assumption that the test invites are based on LOT, that still needs to be established. Also, keep holiday season in mind. Usually applicants are informed three weeks prior to their test dates, so we might not see any activity in early December.

wsm_al you should be hearing soon, whats your LOT? I estimated yours for the sheet. Keep us posted.
