    Sponsoring Parents in 2015

I plan to come back November 2015, and I have sufficient income in Canada (Canadian-soruced) and on Canadian option C printouts for all years, even when I was in the US.

    Sponsoring Parents in 2015

I'm temporary living outside of Canada (2-year contract in the USA), but planning to permanently return to Canada in Nov or Dec. 2015. I want to sponsor my parents in 2016. On the one hand, I seem to check all the right boxes - citizen, living in Canada and not planning to leave, enough...

    Decision made but no letter?

Just called them again - they claim nothing was sent. Checked address and email on file, and everything is correct. Checked all my email for the alst 3 month - nothing from them, including in spam. I guess I can only wait at this point.

    Decision made but no letter?

Still nothing for me :-(. I'll call them again tomorrow, I guess. What does your online status say for sponsor application and for PR application for sponsored person? Mine says "Decision made" for sponsored, and sponsored person and "Application received" for the sponsored person. Oh, and...

    Decision made but no letter?

I am sponsoring my parents, and in online status checker under Sponsorship Application it says "Decision made". When I click on it, it says "We sent you a letter on February 20, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us." I have not...

Re: 45 days time period to Submit RQ

Yes, confirming that I received this exact form this week, 3 months after passing the test. I am not sure on your 3 points - are you suggesting that having a child in Canada can be working against my case? I hoped it was positive - more ties to the country.

Re: 45 days time period to Submit RQ

I got the same form at the same time. Can confirm it says "45 calendar days" with no ambiguity. Quick question - I'm just slightly over 1095 days at the time I applied, but I was in Canada after that. Would submitting documentation to show that help? If so, what docs can it be? Also, my child...

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

Looks good! I applied in Oct'12 (St. Claire) and did not have RQ, so I got test in Nov'13, but then just got RQ 3 months after the test, so now I have no idea how long it's going to take. I wish I got RQ before the test...

Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

I passed the test 2 days after St Clair and also got RQ. This just pisses me off - I lived in Canada for 10 years, had a steady job in Canada all this time, own a house in Canada, and have a child born in Canada. My wife, who applied together with me, works for Canadian freaking government...

    RESIDENCE QUESTIONNAIRE

My wife and I just passed the test. Did not get RQ at or before the test, but I am really worried now - we live in the USA now because of my contract, and I was stupid enough to mention it to the interviewer. She asked if I had a green card and I said no. I stayed more than enough days before...
