    Hi guys, this is troubling to say the least. CRS is 445 with spouse accompanying, 468 without. Both of us have study and work permits respectively. But not yet landed. Incase cut-off does not drop to 440 levels, any chance to switch to non accompanying and get ITA, then sponsor my spouse later...

    Unfortunately, I do not live in Canada. Where I come from in Africa, parental consent is needed for you to marry a lady. You may go ahead and marry her at the courts, but if the lady's parents sue you, there will be trouble. I wouldnt want to be in legal issues at this stage of my life.

    Thank you. I really want to be careful here, what if the parent decides to sue me for getting married to their daughter without their consent? I am hoping that we resolve all issues by the end of the year, it is however necessary for me to start the process now.
