it happened to my friend but what her employer did they called Cic and they suggested that he applied her for restoration so she can get implied status and still work , until her new work permit comes, processing time of her work permit took 3 months.

So why not applied for an OWP? so you can apply for a different job if you don't want to stay with your current employer. It is better to apply for OWP so your current employer won't get any hold from you once you got your OWP.

If you are inland then it's either Sydney Nova Scotia or Ottawa.

Please check the expiration of your visa if it's expired then you have to apply for a new visa. Then try to get your Oec at the consulate than getting it back home.

@gyannahantoine kindly check the expiration of your visa even though your given multiple visa but if it's expired you have to apply for a new visa.
