Fen 14 2018 applicant. Received AIP , SA and DM on sponsor on Nov 29, 2018 and finally got DM on PA yesterday after months of silence.

Hello everyone Update - I got DM on PA yesterday in my ECAS . No update on cic account. No DM letter yet.

I think it will take some time. Work permit application takes about 3 to 4 months.

From last 7 months they are reviewing my security check . So its possible that they are still reviewing spouse 's eligibility. The first approval you will get is SA then AIP and last will be DM letter . Order gcms notes . It can give you some insight.

Call cic and tell them first your file already passed 12 months mark. They will give you more information. Call at 1 888 242 2100 options 1 1 2 3 1 0

That's why it takes me 2 days to reply us,because they dont even look into application to see what's going on.

Not sure if it is good thing or not at this point. 13 months passed. Gcms notes gave no clue. Security check info was wiped out from notes. Web form is no help either. They just send generic reply

I ordered my gcms notes ....agent told me that my security check is pending. That's why I didnot get DM letter yet. No DM on PA on ECAS yet. But I my gcms notes it says they transferred my file to Vancouver office already. No sure what's happening. Anyone have any idea about it ?

I think it does not matter for sponsor. As PA your documents should be valid

Question please I received my gcms notes today and Unfortunately it is no help to me. It has some of the pages blanked out which I am assuming are regarding security check update. My application is stuck at this point. Did anyone else got similar thing in their gcms notes.

Question please...I got Aip on Nov 29, 2018. Todau my Ecas updated saying that they sent me a letter saying that they sent me a letter and expect delays in mail before calling us. I do have aip in cic account. But any idea why it will update in ecas after 3 months. Please advise. Thank you

Same here. I called ircc and agent said that my security check is pending that's why it is delayed and it has been in proceed sinc sep 2018. And no timeline given. I do share some frustration with you ...dont know what to do at this point.
