I noticed that too, they have been unusually slower this week!!! On immitracker only 5 people updated to receiving PR and 3 only are 2018 AORs... :mad:

I actually saw it on immitracker, but yeah it's a brazilian! File was processed in the Mexico visa office... 54 days is way less time than our files have gone over 6 months, it's unbelievable!

So now people with June 2019 AORs are getting PR :)

The exact same happened to me! First when a reminder was sent at the beginning of July, I received the "your file is currently in queue for review by an officer” answer, and then after the 30 days, when we called again and the officer said he couldn't send another reminder, I emailed the CPC...

I'm in the same boat... Medicals expire on Oct 24th, and I'd also have to travel far to the closest doctor listed on the IRCC website. Have to spend on tickets for both me and my fiancé, and also pay the very expensive examination fee for both of us. I find it ridiculously inconsiderate that...

True... but let's be honest, there's not a whole lot of cases with no SS and no RR on eligibility that go beyond a year... So hopefully that won't happen to any of us :confused: Another thing I've been thinking about is that they probably don't wanna start 2020 with a bunch of backlogged cases...

Yeah same to me... I really hope this isn't the case for everyone cause I might lose my mind if I have to wait another 2.5 months!

Things seem to be moving sooooo slowly... on immitracker, only 6 people with AORs in 2018 updated that they have received PPR this week, and only 3 were from Ottawa :confused::confused::confused: I wanna cry :(

Maybe they finally realized they need to stop inviting more people than they can process :mad:

Hey! I haven't emailed the CPC Ottawa address, no... However, last time we called the officer did send a reminder and we got a generic response from the CPC Ottawa address, not from the "donotreply" address, as it usually is. It's been 23 days already since the reminder was sent, so I'm guessing...

What I've seen people say here before is that 'recommended pass' and 'met' are just different terminologies to the same thing...

Guys, I have a question... I read in a different forum that the CIC can request medicals to be re-done once it's 3 months or less from its expiration date. How true is that? I know a lot of you have been requested to re-do it, so I was wondering what the timelines were. Cause as far as I know...

Yeah, it's a joke!!! It's a real lack of consideration for all the hundreds of people who are stuck in this backlog. I said about it to the agent last time I called, but of course his answer was "some applications take longer than others" which is not even a real reason cause lots of us haven't...
