Thanks for your response. I have been in that stage since Aug hence a bit concerned.. also I am PNP Outland.. what’s your take for PNP Outland processing at this moment? Did you mean usually 20-30 days after IP2 stage one gets the golden email for PPR?

I think you meant it went from “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." To "We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information." Right? If that’s the case the 2nd message is IP2.

Thanks! Do you know roughly how long does IP2 take? From what I can see, I have had that message since I received an update from my agent in Aug and it has been the same since till date. Also, what comes after IP2 stage?

Mine says “We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." what does that indicate BG in progress? 1 or 2?

Ghost update/ GU is an email notification from IRCC (donotreply@cic.gc.ca) stating that your application has been updated but when you actually login to check the application status or to check messages there isn’t any update. But this is considered to be a good news because they are working on...

I had posted something on the similar lines last month..I am thinking the same..given the updates we see on CEC candidate profiles compared to Outland on this forum..

Nada.. mine is Jun 17th and no update since Biometrics on Aug 19th.

Is percentage completion any indication of where the application stands in terms of exact step currently being processed? My application status says 61% complete. Can someone please share insight, if any? Thanks
