Quick Question on Entry VISA - What are people putting on Present Occupation - Official or Private Service? I work in IT and dont know what to put in there. and then the next one is around Past occupation - what constitutes as past occupation? so ambiguous.

To add - mine took 6-8 weeks because of the holidays but when i checked with BLS Support team they confirmed we can still travel with OCI but need to take both old and new Canadian passports.

This is the right approach and I have done it as well - simple straight forward and you have to wait for 2-4 weeks for this to get approved.

If you go ahead and tell IRCC that you want your oath to be expedited for this reason I have a feeling they might not process your request for the invite.... you are basically giving a reason of no intention to reside in Canada once you have your citizenship.
