    I would say no, there is no where that is indicated, I think it’s a US thing but my husband was adamant that it needed to be done so I let him do it

    I feel your frustration, each passing event and holiday gets tougher for me, Thanksgiving was especially hard. Hopefully they stick to the 12 months timeline and my husband can come before Christmas but I don't have much faith that they will complete it within 12 months

    I’m a Dec 2018 applicant, my file was transferred in August and finally opened in Mexico in October and we are still waiting. So yes it will still be a wait for you, but each step is closer to bringing your spouse here
