I am just happy that IRCC are getting COPR sent out to anyone at this point. I am long past trying to work out or accept that there could be any fairness or order in this process, I let it roll over me like waves :D:p

There are so many people in the same position. Seems so bizarre that they aren't cleaning up these quick wins and closing the backlog.

Biometrics for PR seemed to trigger my BOWP approval too. Still waiting on my refund for biometrics.

I had the same problem, the HR department just gave a rubbish generic letter without any of the info I needed. So I asked my old manager to do it who I am on good terms with.

I provided my biometrics on Nov 9th, eligibility has passed back in July. Last Friday I had a GU and IRCC agent on the phone confirmed that criminality was done, security was done. No news since so hoping to hear soon soon!

I'm really not sure if it is the checks taking time, or if it is just not having the manpower to go into the applications and do the final steps. When biometrics came back and people got those early appointments there were cases of approvals in days after getting biometrics for them. Not sure...

It's all a mess really. Many people with later AOR's were getting and are still getting biometric appointment phone calls before those who have been waiting longer too. Then I have no idea how they prioritize applications after biometrics/exemption is updated but it definitely doesn't seem like...

I’ve seen a few cases of people’s applications getting updated to approved over the weekend :) however if this is human or automated based on a queue or something I don’t know. But still good news!

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes for criminality to complete after biometrics? When I ordered my GCSM notes back in August, criminality was 'in progress'. I completed my biometrics on Nov 9th and when I called IRCC today they said it is still 'in progress'. Security however has passed.

No refund yet, I'm not sure how long it will take. From what I've read a lot of people got a refund on the same day, so I'm assuming they refund in waves, so may be a bit early yet for me.
