Apply for renewal now, it won't harm. It took me 5.5 months to get the renewed card now (received this week).

Finally I got my renewed PR card 1 month prior to Oath ;). It took them almost 6 months to get it re-issued.

I will wait and if nothing is received by Nov 12, 2021 (by Oath date), I will ask what to sign during the Oath. As you mentioned, it must be solemn declaration I believe. Thank you, I know. I'm a Dec 2019 citizenship applicant and share my experience since I will need a PR card on Nov 12, 2021...

I applied for PR renewal for my wife, my son and myself on May 10, 2021 PR renewal AOR: Sep 22, 2021 On Oct 6, 2021 we received new cards for wife and son only. 149 days only!!! My new card is missing / lost / God knows where.

You can go to 2019, 2020 and 2021 excel trackers and check month-by-month when people declared the forthcoming dates. No pattern has been observe - very randomly.

All the trackers are based on month and year of application, not the office.

I had the same question. It looks it specifically depends on load of a particular office. I've never seen anyone scheduled before me in Scarborough after I got my date announced (Nov 12). All further oath dates were scheduled after that. However, you are right, Mississauga still schedules...

Normally people receive an official e-mail with instructions from 10 to 1 days prior to the ceremony date.

I tried that but it says my application was not found.

I have the same story. The system shows me only my citizenship status but nothing about the application for PR renewal.

A friend of mine was waiting for his certificate for 2 months. Finally he managed to reach IRCC via phone and complained. They checked that said as per Canada post it was delivered a month ago. So it was considered as lost in transit, IRCC reissued the certificate and he got it within a week...
