Sounds lovely. I guess that means September end for the SC and December for the OCI.

I surrendered my passport in person at BLS Montreal on August 16th. Passport Seva website says "Surrender certificate is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate. " I believe processing time at HCI Ottawa is 4-5 weeks? Really slow!!

Applied in person regular processing at Montreal downtown on 4th August 2023. Was given a date of 22-23 Aug to get the passport. Received it on Aug 10th. Old version of the passport.

I got my e-cert this evening. This journey has finally come to an end. On to the next one.

I asked her and she told me everyone including me will be getting an e cert. I preferred that anyway so didn't mind.

Oath completed today. Now the wait for the certificate. My agent told me that everyone is getting an e cert now.

How soon does the Montreal office send you the e-certificate after the oath?

My oath date on the portal is 1st August and I haven't received any email yet. How am I supposed to contact them to get that email?

You have to request it via webform here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/apply/urgently.html But I don't think regular travelling will qualify for urgent processing

Oath scheduled for 1st August 2023. Total time 15 months. Finally its over.

LPP finally completed. I guess the urgent processing request was approved.

I put in a request for urgent processing and got a response from IRCC saying the documents have been added to my file.

Montréal processing office. Problem is I applied online but didn't get a rejection via email. The posting doesn't specifically say you need Canadian citizenship. It was the recruiter who told me the requirements when I spoke to her on the phone.

I requested my notes on Feb 23 and received the notes on Mar 25. The notes were seemingly generated on Mar 15th.

I submitted it in May 2022. I checked the entire file again and don't have any oath due date. All I see is that Oath : Not started.

Man my LPP due date on gcms is May 3rd. I'm dead. I've emailed my MP but not expecting much from it.

And I assume you, like everyone else, has no clue why this is happening and won't get any useful answers from IRCC?
