Has Etobicoke office just stopped processing files or what’s going on? When was the last time someone got an update from Etobicoke office? I just don’t get how the office can be open and multiple people are waiting on an update since 2018. What do they focus most of their time on at that office...

I agree with sharmgop that we have to do something to bring this matter to IRCC's attention. Waiting 1-2 years after your application has been transferred with no word from IRCC is so unfair. Most of us already waited an entire year before our file was transferred, so they expect us to wait 3...

Sorry for the bad news. You will have to order GCMS notes to know why your file was transferred. Usually admissibility issue or they don’t believe relationship is genuine. What documents did they request and did you provide before the transfer? There is another thread for files that have been...

In progress. It say “admissibility decision cannot be reached until receipt of additional documents” and “SDS review required” I have no clue what SDS is though

Sent it in December 2019 and it was transferred to Etobicoke in December 2020. It’s just weird to me that they decided the relationship was genuine and then seem to have changed their mind.

Yes but they were not that helpful. On one day they wrote that that they believe the relationship is genuine and eligibility is passed and that they are checking criminal admissibility. But the few weeks later officer wrote after further review an interview is warranted for eligibility decision...

same thing happened to us in January. I think it just means that the Etobicoke office received the file and it’s in cue to be reviewed there. We are also Dec 2019 applicants whose file was transferred to Etobicoke, please keep us updated on your progress.Best of luck.
