Someone told me that they give museum passes, provincial parks passes etc. during oath ceremony. Is it true? I know this is not a very important question to ask here.. but I was curious. Wanted to visit ROM this weekend, but I can wait few more days (hopefully not months) for free passes :)

Me. Test completed on Feb 19th. BGC still in progress. Same Scarborough office. From GCMS notes, criminally check completed, security check pending since January.

In that case I think it should be okay. I passed my test and i did not even realize i was showing reverse text. Maybe i was so much involved in fitting the id card within the box shown on screen :D

You might have enabled in the camera settings to show image like a mirror (flips image horizontally). Otherwise a webcam wouldn't show the text in reverse. Please check the settings.

Today, my citizenship test status is updated to "completed". Background verification status is still "in progress".

My background is still in progress but my test is completed. Not sure if there is any order to this process.

I passed the test, wife still preparing. Does my family application (including children) processing stop until wife also completes her test? Is it also dependent on her test result?

wife got fp request and her bgc completed. i did not get any fp request yet i am still waiting for my bgc to complete. a friend of mine also applied around same time (mid aug), and for him, his bgc is completed in Dec, but his wife's bgc is pending. no fp request either. so not sure how they are...
