I got the original back for my child's application- Submission date - 30th March (In person at BLS Toronto). OCI status In-progress - 20th April Original delivered - 25th April (By Purolator)

So, it takes about 3 weeks to show up in OCI website.. Please update when the next update is..

I submitted OCI at BLS Toronto for my child on 30th March. Date of acknowledgement - 20 April OCI status - Under Process Now I think i should receive my child's birth certificate in a week or so. Does anyone know how much it took to receive the original after acknowledgement at consulate? Thanks

Same here.. I submitted OCI application for my child on 30th March.. Maybe we should see update in a week or so.. Also, I submitted birth certificate original which I havent got back yet.. They told I will get back the original in 2-3 weeks..

Agreed, for the same reason, I filled in the form on computer itself. The birth certificate had the right address but they made a typo in the passport address. the house number (19 instead of 79). This is one of the most important document and they just can't do these mistakes.

My CC was charged after 3 weeks, but there was no issue with the card. but yeah, it's always better to call for peace of mind.. I had also called after 2 weeks to find there was no issue..

They don't need the CVV , just the number, expiry date and name are sufficient.

I don’t think the application is rejected unless there is any false information provided deliberately. I believe they will contact if they need further information. My credit card charged today for my kid’s application.

Don't you have the physical email that they would send to your Canadian mailing address? Mails are better than emails. other options is to call CIC and tell them your email has changed and request them to send to your email id. No need to pay those extra bucks to those people.
