If the checklist requested was to submit Police certificate, proof of relationship and all other forms updated, then you should be fine. All we need to do it to wait until once of the officers at the VO review it Did you pay your spouse biometrics fee?

In my case it took 2 months after medical is passed to receive PR approval and Portal invitation.

That is true. I was in touch with a friend today and he told me that his overseas spouse application in Abu Dhabi took 24 months then they requested Biometrics and medicals within 30 days.

Apparently you can't. Only the main applicant can for his/her file. I tried linking my overseas spouse file to GCKey and it did not work. I called IRCC and I was told that it is not possible to link it unless it was sponsorship application for the overseas member.
