Yep, I've already applied it (surrender certificate) in the week of Good Friday. Still waiting on it. Status is "Surrender certificate is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate."

I updated my Driver's License and Health Card. I'm yet to make the change on the SIN card. I'm waiting for the proper driver's license to turn up in the mail before I apply for a passport - I don't wanna take any risks with the printout.

I got good news from Service Ontario today. They said that my name change certificate was printed early in the week and should be in the mail now. I hope to receive it by next week. Post that I have to change the name on all my official documents such as CRA, SIN, Driver's License, Health Card...

Finally the Ceremony was set to "Completed" and congratulations message about citizenship appeared on the tracker.

Emailed them the oath form the same day - didn't hear back. So sent them a reminder today to acknowledge the form & to reach out in case of any issues. Let's see... Tracker still says "Citizenship Ceremony" in progress.

Losing my cool was not an option. What would that have achieved really? :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Definitely would be disappointing, I have this date on the tracker for the past 3 months.

Called them today and got to an agent after a 30 minute wait. Agent said that sometimes the online tracker is not right and the data sometimes wrongly says that oath has been scheduled - but that it means nothing till I get an email invitation. He said he'd reach out directly to the office...

What number did the others call on? What options did you select to talk to an agent? And, what's the ideal time to call?

Yes, the norm seems to be about 2 weeks prior to oath. I got an acknowledgement of the webform I raised today morning - so going to wait till Monday before I call them.
