I’m just glad the email mentioned that they’re still looking at applications. I was worried they’d say we have decided to pause it or something.

Initially I was very hopeful. I got RPRF request in Jan. Then a little while later I called them up and found out that my eligibility was passed at CIO, then the file was sent to CPC-O. This was mid Jan. The file hasn't been touched since then. And people with their files at CPC-O have been...

Like I said before, I'll be more than happy to take back my words lol. I want my application to move asap too obviously. But things just don't look promising, especially for outland applicants like me whose application is at Ottawa.

Just curious, how does the fact that people are waiting since 2019 supposed to give us hope? If anything, it just goes to show the huge backlog that IRCC has to deal with?

I'm sure the OP would love to be wrong in this case. I'll be extremely happy if I get PPR even by Nov this year. Sadly I don't think that's very likely.

I'd be happy with a 10 month time even. I called today after a month and the status is still the same as it was the last time I called. Eligibility passed (or recommended passed) and the others not started. Eligibility was done at CIO and then the application was passed on to CPC-O in Jan and...

Glad to see some movement for FSW-O from CPC-O. My application is there as well and Im scared with all the delays in the applications being processed there.

I don’t mean it to be negative! I’ll actually be happy. I’m very worried currently as my application is at cpc-o and that’s the slowest vo currently. Some people have been waiting to hear back from them since 2019!

The way things are, as an FSW-O, Ill be extremely happy if I get ppr in 12 months, i.e. Nov this year.

Bad luck. It's probably the slowest right now for FSW-O. People have been waiting for a very long time for some movement from there. Mine is also there.

I would say unless you're from Africa, you're out of luck with the 9 month timeline because only the Accra office is processing FSW-O applications. For all other offices, its out of luck. Going to be delayed. Do you happen to know your VO? These days, time taken is more dependent on your VO...

    PPR delays due to covid-19

This is my biggest fear as well. However, I hope this is not going to happen because this would mean they would have to refund all the fees as well. Cancelling applications might be simple enough, but refunding money takes a lot more resources, not talking about the fees, but managing the whole...

Yes. I wouldn't mind waiting for Copr as long as i get PPR. Because then you can relax that it's just a matter of time. Right now, its all uncertain. Who knows what will happen when they eventually start processing our applications. I have adjusted my expectations accordingly. My file is at...

Can you please tell me the date you requested the notes and the dates the notes were generated? I want to see how much progress since your request is included in the notes. Thanks

No one can answer this question right now. There are too many factors involved. But the majority of applications are going to be delayed, at least for FSW-O.

Same. We are unfortunate with files at Ottawa.
