We got notification to check mycic portal for an update. There was only one message with PPR request, the letter was addressed to the principal applicant only, dependant wasn't mentioned at all. We did submit both passports with that letter and got visas without any issue.

I'd try with payment receipt IMM5401. You can enter either the sponsor or applicant's info. For sponsor, it'd show both the sponsorship as well as PR status. For applicant, it'd show only PR.
