Hi . I have 5 yrs exp with hdfc bank cr. Card deptt. N currently my husband is with hdfc... and our experience says we have never seen any exp date with date. Its always in format of mm/yy. So don't worry ... its valid till last date of month.

I have few points here.. 1. Don't worry . If u r before 19/Nov/14 applicant, ur card will be charged in Ja3n itself. 2. How can u send any additional detail without any unique reference number? They r not bothering about only one application. God forbid if this happens, u will be sent a mail...
