Hey Quick Question - Which document can be shown as a proof of citizenship before the arrival of the actual citizenship certificate. I am done with my oath, portal says you are a canadian citizenship. My USA employer needs a proof, or shall i just tell them to wait.?

Portal got updated a day later (Nov 25) and says Application Closed: You are now a Canadian Citizen. Waiting for Certificate

Completed Oath today. Mississauga office. Emailed signed oath confirmation form right after the oath. No auto-reply or acknowledgement. Portal still says Oath ceremony in progress.

No auto-reply for me as well. I am from Mississauga office. Any mississauaga office applicant here who got an auto reply??

I sent the digitally signed oath form right after the ceremony today (replied to the email of the oath invite). Did not get any auto-reply of confirmation of receipt though., is it okay?

Exact same with me. I think its normal. I believe we are in the same oath- was it 10:15 Am Mississauaga office on Nov 24?

Finally got oath invite yesterday after more than 3.5 months of decision made. I am Mississauga applicant. Test - 25 May DM - 21 July Oath Invite - 9 Nov Oath - 24 Nov No email of instuctions yet - will keep you posted.

5-7 Months wait after DM..... Reallly??? This makes me think i shall renew my PR card.

Yes, around a month back. Reached them after so much waiting. Agent could not give me anything. He has no clue. He could not even tell if DM is approval or rejection. It was a complete waste. Reached out to MP as well, they gave the standard reply that due to rush from afghan applications ...

Same here +2 days - mine DM was 21 July. I am from Mississauga office. No oath invites from that office in more than a month. Correct me if i am wrong.

Problem with me is my vacation is long, 2-3 months starting 20 Dec and i think i have to come in middle of it in case the oath comes (as you can only take it from Canada). I will wait for 1 more month - till 21 Nov. If the oath still does not come, i have no option but to cancel my ticket. And...

Today is when i complete 3 full months since DM (on 21 July) but no Oath. I am from Mississauga office. Anyone else in my boat? Give me some hope please. I have to travel outside Canada on 20th Dec, my PR card is expired and citizenship is just not coming. :(

Mine is Mississauaga and DM was on July 21. Hope my officer is same and invites me also. :)

Sorry to hear that. I am more or less in the same boat, with my PR expired and no oath invite after the DM made on Jul 21. I have to travel to my home country on Dec 20 and i am worried because i wont be having any travel document. I raised an expedite request giving this reason last week and...

Anybody in this portal with DM made before July Mid and still have not got the oath invite?
