I emailed my local office and they responded within half an hour... pretty responsive. They told me to contact them again if I don't receive it within 4 weeks.

That was pretty quick. I did the ceremony on Dec. 8 and our local office confirmed that the certificate had been mailed out and I haven’t received it yet…

Was your application closed the next day after the ceremony? I didn't ask for urgent process for the certificate but I did mention that I may travel in January when sending back the signed form after the creamery. My application was closed on the same day but it says updated one day after the...

Hi fam, I just attended the ceremony this morning. 9:30-11am so it wasn't too bad... 46 people were in the zoom meeting including some agents, clerk and a presiding official. IRCC sent me the Oath or Affirmation of Citizenship form to sign shortly after the ceremony and I signed and sent back...

My parents' resumes are very short and brief. It's like half page lol

I just submitted my parents' application. If IRCC return the application as it's incomplete, will I be able to submit it again? Or it has to be "complete" before Dec. 6, 2021?

I felt exactly the same!! It also tells you to include all the family members but I could only add dependants to the list... which I don't think I'm a dependant as I sponsor them... Anyway, I ended up just adding my mom as a dependant to my dad. I just paid $2270 application fees. So expensive....

I received the invite back in September but am working on the application now as the deadline is tomorrow.... just a quick question - Am I considered as my father's dependant? The form is very confusing... it says include all family members including who's already Canadian citizen or permanent...
