Yes anytime during the test window.

When you get a test invite email, you can identify the office where your application is processed.

Yes, you will get an email in 24-48hour usually.

Kind of same thing for me. Submitted the finger print on March 8th still waiting for the update.

If you had given finger print earlier for PR or Work visa application, they wont ask you that. In my case i have never given finger print , so i was expecting that . I think if your BG is complete they dont ask for finger prints
