Thank you all who answer my many questions on this forum! You helping me tremendously... I have another question : On form IMM0008 question 3 it asks for number of family members in the application. It is just me and my wife who is sponsoring.. So is it 2 or is 1 for just me.

And am I right in assuming that I don't claim my wife ( who is sponsoring me obviously ) as a dependant?

It was the " Generic Application Form for Canada ( IMM 0008 ) Question one and two.

I am a little confused as what to put down on the form when it asks " Family, Economic, Refugee, or Other" We are applying under "Spouse or Common-law Partner in Canada" class. This is not family class right? But in "Other" there is no option of Spouse or common law in Canada. What did you all...

When you came across the border where you issued a visitor's permit which was stapled into your passport or simply let in for 6 months? Also I am curious how hard it was to cross as they knew you were likely to apply? Thanks for your answers...

Hello all, I am an american citizen, and my wife is from Quebec. We want to apply for inland sponsorship, but my question is, must I have a visitors record to apply? If I cross and they issue no visitors record is it possible to apply without?
