I would recommend putting a letter of explanation and explaining why you were part time. I would not listen to your advisor regarding working full time. Once you apply work permit, you can work full time. Just be honest in your letter, hopefully you will be fine.

We are going to take a chance and apply with both his programs. Totally upon visa officer now if they will consider his first program or not.

Thank you. I do not think that would be the case. I had a friend who completed two 1 year certificate programs in similar timeline as my brother. He got 3 year work permit. We will see what happens.

You might be stopped for further questions but if you have met residence requirements and you have all essential documents, they cannot deny you entry. Afterall they approved your renewal for PR. But if you can wait for the new card, then do that. Atleast it saves you from the stress.

Did you submit your solemn declaration? Any update? I submitted mine on Mar 12, 2019. Sent web inquiry this week, CIC said they are processing solemn declarations from Feb 13, 2019 currently.

I honestly don’t think it matters whose number you give. They just need it for verification purpose in case you call them later on asking about the status of your pr card. In that case they will ask you to confirm your phone number and email ID. Just give your friends number.

You should get it soon....I have been sending them web inquiry like every 3 days but their reply is always standard. Calling them is too hectic! I will now wait until my 6 weeks are up within few days and then send web inquiry.

That must be a mistake by canada post then. They probably returned it instead of getting it to you.
