@legalfalcon I was unaccompany spouse during PR application since my medical and and background was also examined at that time. Now my spousal sponsorship is stuck in background check since long time. Do they depth background check for spousal sponsorship?

Did you work in military/government service in home country? I heard people having military background will take long security check. I have also police background and my security is in progress since one month. I am also afraid because no body knows how long it will take.

@legalfalcon what is difference between security check in Temporary Resident Visa(TRV) and PR application? My TRV is recently approved and PR application is stuck in Security check. My security is alreday cleared in TRV should i expect decision soon in PR application?

@legalfalcon I applied visitor visa application on Dec 28,2022 but didnt get decision yet. I ordered gcms notes and got two days ago. As per notes my eligibility is passed. Do you have any idea why my file is stuck for a long time. The avreage processing time for visitor visa is only 18 days...

@legalfalcon As the public servant are starting nation wide strike from wednesday processing immigartion application also going to be delayed as per ircc official web site. What will happens those immigration application which is processing outside canada such as New Delhi, Manila etc? Officer...

Not yet. I dont know how long we should wait. IRCC should responsible for making our life in limbo. At least they have to give decision on time either approve or reject.
