Yes they acknowledge receipt eventually (about a month plus). You can raise a Web form... I did that a lot and got several acknowledgements from IRCC.

Hmmm... So it is scary to assume now that after douse appears in profile it takes IRCC 6months to grant BIL? This scares me.... And they are resuming all express entry programmes again today(6th July)...

No they do not allow this. Even the vfs global stations require BIL for you to book an appointment. I also wanted to do upfront biometrics considering we have paid for the service but then I saw on IRCC websites. Until you are given tge instruction to do Biometrics do not go to a centre to give...

Welcome to our exclusive club.... I hope that they quickly give a biometric instruction letter for our spouses' as they say applications will not be processed further if Biometrics are not submitted!
