It took two weeks for me since medical exam till the status change in mycic.

I see different reactions to the same questions/scenarios from the same processing centre. I wonder if each case goes to a different officer or there is only one officer at each processing centre? Anybody knows?

Thats true. I was in the same situation. Even though the cic never gave me a clear answer on my extention request, my mom is showing up for bio this week which is about a month after the due date given. We have sent them explanations and copy of her flight tickets. Based on your experience...

Has anyone provided biometrics after the due date mentioned in the letter?

I was in the same situation, my mom was here on visitor visa but i never got a clear answer in response to my extention requests. Which processing centre yours is with? Mine is with Mississauga Also did they send you a new bio letter with an updated due date on it?

My mom was with me in Canada and she had to leave to back home to provide biometrics. I called them and sent them webforms but at the end she had to leave.

How long after your email the status changed? And what was written under the background check initially? Mine is now showing that they are reviewing the background so i was thinking maybe it means that they received my pcc, but under the documents still showing no doc required.

In mycic under the background check section, it shows "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." I cannot remember what was it before and if it has been changed at all. Does It mean they received my pcc?

Hi guys, I received an email approving my sponsorship quite some time ago. But in mycic still shows "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." Will this change at all? Or should i be concerned?

Should we send the pcc in mail or judt emailing is enough?

Thank you. My dad took it back home 17 days ago and my mom took it 15 days ago in Toronto.

My CIC is updated with " medical exam passed" . It's shown In the main page, does it mean both PA and dependent spouse passed the exam or just the PA?

Where/how did they specify the pcc pcc deadline? I got a general email for additional documents including the pcc.
