Ok, I called them they say I need to have CA passport, I feel they may not have adequate information :(, sent an email to consulate cg.toronto@mea.gov.in, have not got any response. Not sure if the email address is correct or anyother dedicated one available.

Hello, Not sure if its the right forum, do not see any other dedicated forum. For dual citizens (US , CA).Is it mandatory to have CA passport for applying OCI, is it not just enough having US passport and CA citizenship certificate? Anyone been through this?

Guys, I have different question, I am contemplating if I should apply for Canadian passport, my son aquired Canadian citizenship but he has US passport for travel, I am seeing he can travel to Canada with US passport and Canadian citizenship cert, is that fair understanding?

Is the BG completed date was the tracker updated date that we get to see or actual date of event update in tracker?

Any body got update after IRCC received finger prints? How long they take to update background check after receiving finger prints?

The RCMP website says like this, If there is NO match to a criminal record 3 business days or less The results are mailed to the address provided and extra time should be allowed for delivery by Canada Post Is this for our cases?, I heard it’s longer than this.
