It's per year income of the family/household. Means the yearly income of both of you and your spouse.
I don't think many people have that much 'monthly' income (>$50,000) to fulfill the LICO requirement! :D If so, then only a handful of people from all over Canada would be eligible to apply for...
You don't have to purchase tickets for the application. And ideally, don't purchase tickets before their final decision comes in.
Just write their tentative visit plan, e.g., they would visit our family, go to these places to visit, spend time with pregnant wife/children, etc. Write tentative...
How do you mean by 'how early'?
Usually people apply for it well in advance of their prospective visit to Canada. Bear in mind that the process takes months. So apply as early as all the required documents are ready.
LICO requirements don't change drastically every year. It's only a slight change.
Also, I'd say you provide them with as many income proofs as you can, e.g., your bank statement, pay stubs, NOAs, T4, job offer letter, etc. whatever you have.
In my opinion, there is no harm in providing extra documents than required to IRCC. If the application is still pending and if there is any way that you can submit the docs again, I'd say go for it.
Just buy insurance with dates in 2022, provide tentative dates. The insurance quotes will not suffice for visa application, you must BUY it. But, you won't have to pay anything right now. Your insurance payment starts when the parents board the flight to Canada.
Once the visa is approved and...
No, I don't think we need to do anything further. 2-way service is paid for and now we will receive passports back to our home once stamped. My parents sent their passports a couple of days earlier than your parents did, I guess. So, mine will receive earlier, I assume. I'll keep you updated...
I wouldn't reapply in such a case. The timeline isn't excessively long. I'd say wait for a couple of weeks for the medicals to appear as passed.
If still nothing happens, maybe you can raise a web form and submit it.
The link to the webform...
Sorry. Don't have an exact idea, but you could write that back then they didn't have a robust system to register marriages or something like that.
I'd suggest you do an affidavit. Also, if your parents have their spouse's name in their passports, it should be ok along with the affidavit. Should...
I don't have any knowledge about the IRCC portal. I applied through GCKey account.
I think they can provide a legal marriage affidavit from a notary instead of a marriage certificate. Make sure you mention and explain this in the 'Letter of explanation' attached with the application. Explain why...
Hi it's usually a long process to apply for super visa. Not practical to describe all the steps here. I'd suggest you watch youtube videos on how to apply. There are dozens of videos available. You'll get everything you need in those videos. If you have specific questions, then you may ask in...
Vaccination status doesn't affect the visa application. It's required when you travel.
But, yes if you are planning on reapplying, it is a good idea. Considering their biometric has already been done, you can reapply and get medicals done upfront. This might speed up the process.
IRCC portal vs. GCKey.
I don't understand why there are 2 ways to apply for the same visa. I, and a few other people that I know, applied through GCKey account for our parents' super visa. The process was smooth as butter and the visas were approved within the time limit (2-3 months). GCKey...
My parents filled out this form the way I have written above. Hope it helps. Please note: We opted for the courier service, and that's why we filled this 'Indirect submission' form. I don't know if you need to fill this out if you don't opt for it and send the passports on your own.
Exactly. Doesn't make sense. That's why my parents contacted the VFS. They said that the lounge service is when they come for the biometrics, and they have these helping people there who can assist the applicants in filling out the forms, making photocopies, etc. But the courier service is only...
