LICO requirements don't change drastically every year. It's only a slight change. Also, I'd say you provide them with as many income proofs as you can, e.g., your bank statement, pay stubs, NOAs, T4, job offer letter, etc. whatever you have.

In my opinion, there is no harm in providing extra documents than required to IRCC. If the application is still pending and if there is any way that you can submit the docs again, I'd say go for it.
