That's great, but lots of us applied for an extension back in February/March/April, and still waiting. Just something to keep in mind, though I hope it gets better.

I agree with the previous post. Also, don't take for granted that your extension will be resolved by December. We don't know that. Currently, even with waived biometrics, there is still no movement forward regarding extensions.

Waiting time is now 18 days, however, I really don't have much hope this will be resolved in the next month or two. Based on this forum and reddit, there is not a single soul (without biometrics) who has moved to the next stage.

Hmm, something here doesn't make sense. If you still have those 90 days or so after the program completion date, then why wouldn't you be allowed to work during PGWP application. You can still work as a student in implied status normally, as long as you applied for an extension. I really hope...

I have been told by my university representative that I can normally apply for PGWP even with implied status and start working.

Does anyone know what is the procedure if the permit extension gets approved? Do you get another study permit by mail or you have to pick it up? I might be moving in a month, so am just curious.
