The news is just getting better, looks like Eithad is looking to help passengers by including the cost of a PCR test and will conduct it in Dubai during transit - which means direct flights to Canada just by taking Eithad! Here is the screenshot from Eithad customer care...

If you are in IT and experienced, then I would take the risk. Companies are always hiring for IT folks. December is a slowdown, but if you are already in Canada, it is an opportunity for you to acclimatize and be ready whenever interviews open up. Also since you said IT, can I recommend the...

@saini1987 is bang on the money with the right reasoning. Mexico, Albania, and Maldives look doable. However, the cost is 2x to 4x right now. And even if they open up the direct routes, I'm not sure the prices will not drop till the massive number of students, PRs, and Citizens make it over to...

Yes sir! But looks like BA and LHR is not a good option anymore. It's better to use FRA or AMS and their respective home carriers. Atleast they have an in terminal testing center and in terminal transit hotels.

    COPR and coronavirus

Your personal situation is unique to you, so if your parents cannot travel to a medical center, then raise a webform. However, are you based out of India? If yes, then I would recommend you to still make it to the other city and get done with it. The 3rd wave is kicking off, and by the pattern...

Are you based in India? Then I would say renew your passport under Tatkal and you will get it very quickly. Recently one of my friend (in Hyderabad) got it renewed and the new passport in hand in 7 days (including Police verification since there was a change in the address). And IRCC's advice...

    COPR and coronavirus

Yes, you can. You must send a copy of your new passport to IRCC by raising a webform as soon as you receive your new passport. Verify the change has been done by viewing it in the GC key account.

Don't worry they've asked for 14 days to process the passports. And considering all the delays we've had this is miniscule. Thankfully all my 4 passports are at the IRCC Office as of today afternoon. It's taken them exactly 10 days after it went bouncing around the country to different VFS...

And please also note - that Canadians in general are very immigrant friendly. The BSO/CBSA are trained not to filter out unless something seems out of place. I feel the same goes for the officers who review all our applications at IRCC. Unless, something is seriously amiss, they want people in...

Nothing to worry for FSW, this is for PNP applicants. It means their initial conversation with the BSO is important - their reasoning for any of their answers should be good and truthful.

    Post PPR 2021 - Moving To Canada - 2021 / 2022

Just clarifying some terms first: The city you land first is called as the Port of Entry (POE) in Canada. The city you intend to live is called as the Destination City (as listed in CoPR). As an FSW or PNP applicant, it is not a requirement to directly land in the Destination City. At the POE...

    Post PPR 2021 - Moving To Canada - 2021 / 2022

Yes the CoPR lists the Destination City. You would have selected this way back when filling the EE application. The Destination City/Province matters for those on the PNP program since they need to sign an agreement with the Province that has nominated them. And it impacts them during their...

Mine were direct @Saira443 British Airways offer complete money refund or a complete voucher refund which can be used till April 2023. Hence booked them in mid-June though I wasn't sure when the Visa office would reopen and/if the 3rd country option would still be around.

That's correct, you will receive only 1 letter on the primary applicant. You can use that for the dependents as well. The Application number mentioned on the PPR is the same for everyone in the family.

Dont worry, I didn't fill the form either. I listed out all the applicants, and their height and eye color in a tabular format. I also mentioned who the primary applicant is and the dependents. I think you should be fine. What they need is the information (which you have given).
