My NOC is 8232 (Oilfield engineer)

I got a NOI even though I don't have a job offer or any ties with Alberta. I don't know whether I should proceed and apply or not? Their email response was generic and din't really say if I'm actually eligible or not. Any idea?

I got NOI on 19 MAR 2019 with CRS 438 and NOC 8232. Waiting for their response to my email. I don't have any past Canadian experience or work permit or job offer. HOpefully the NOI wasn't sent under misunderstanding

Anyone else get NOI today? I got one just now. My CRS is 438 and NOC 8232.

Such a hopeless situation for fellow sub-440s at the moment. It's not the 3 week gap that caused this situation but the drastic reduction in the number of ITAs that will cause it to stay in high 440s for the forseeable future.

I personally think it is unlikely to get 438 in this draw again but predictions from multiple people about 438 is giving me hope. :)

I also lost out on 438 due to tie breaker. My spouse has already had 5 attempts at IELTS, out of which two still have results pending. Hoping against hope for a draw tomorrow to avoid further "investment" in IELTS :D

You don't need to mention addresses for your short travels. Just keep your country of residence for that time as your main address for entire duration.

Even after this ridiculous week of disappointment, the question that arises is whether people who got NOI for skilled trade on 24 Jan are eligible for the HCP NOI that may get distributed in Feb? I have sent email to OINP with no answer. Does anybody have answer for that or any way to refuse...

Exactly so the confusion is over. However, it does raise a question. Why is Ontario inviting people with skilled NOC when those people have clearly mentioned in their profiles that they don't met at least one of the eligibility conditions like legal status in Canada, work experience in Canada...

Actually, Human capital stream has three substreams. One of them is driven by NOC as they only invite certain skilled NOCs. If it was not driven by NOC, then it's strange that they invited some people with sub-400 CRS score and left out some people with scores more than 438
