With passport cancelled and hole punched, it's as good as an archive. You can't travel using that anymore.

Why would you? Just show your US ticket and US visa on Indian pp. You'd show your Canadian PP in US POE.

I'd Book two seperate tickets IND-US and US-CAN and say transit. And you will show Canadian PP instead of PR this time.

2. You can get passport within 2days if you choose expedited process. I got my cert and passport within a week. Once you get your passport, yes you can fly to India on indian passport. ( 3mo grace period works. yes). On the way back fly to US. Drive to Canada and show your Canadian passport.

I called BLS International - (647) 846-4077. Lady who picked up confirmed they are still accepting OCI applications and they are getting processed and the update was only related to Visa services. Anyone else can try and double confirm.

What they meant is, BLS International's presence and operations in Canada only accounts to 2% to their global revenue. They are present in many other countries.

Yeah these folks f'ed up big time. So all "in-process" stuff will also be held. I don't understand how they didn't consider Canadian-Indians in this mix.
