@scylla: If I didn’t miss anything, IRCC has only asked about the missing traditional marriage here and not for a reason of not meeting up in-person for 2 years. Traditional marriage they usually ask and is to figure out if both families are in support or not. @sophie1

On the website and tweets, it is clearly mentioned that unasked passports will be returned back. There isn’t any point in sending passports of the people of whom VFS has no instructions.
