In my opinion, the second time change in Background status is a good thing! i.e., your file is being looked at by an officer possibly. Any suggestions @EscoBlades

I was hoping for some progress but the call with IRCC agent today dented my hope. It took two months approx for change in BG status. Hope it helps

I think I should be getting my GCMS notes in about a week now. Its been very long since I applied. Maybe that'll shed some light on the process

To be honest I would take what the IRCC agent say with a grain of salt. I've read multiple posts highlighting the discrepancies between what the IRCC agent says and the actual process itself.

yes it did. I tried calling IRCC call centre today but unfortunately I couldn't get through to them. The wait is horrendous tho
